Job Title: Event Manager

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event planning, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. As an Event Manager at Hoko Agency, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of events from conception through to completion. Your role will involve liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure every event exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
– Plan, design, and produce events while managing all project delivery elements within time limits.
– Liaise with clients to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
– Conduct market research, gather information, and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals.
– Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders.
– Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality.
– Organize facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc.
– Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health, and safety obligations.
– Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities.
– Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize events.
– Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day.
– Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes.
– Research event industry trends and apply knowledge to create innovative and memorable events.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar role.
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
– Proficiency in event management software and MS Office.
– Creative and innovative thinking.
– Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
